Mosaic Summer Discipleship Program

We are looking for individuals to help us as we seek to build a disciple making movement on the campus at the University of Alaska Anchorage. Students in this area tend to be active, enjoy outdoor activities and are largely unchurched. Many of the students we come in contact with are willing to have spiritual conversations though they do not have much of an understanding of christianity.

We are looking for individuals who are motivated and willing to form relationships, take initiative and have had experience with outreach programs (monthly lunches, kick off events, social activities, etc.), able to articulate the gospel, willing to learn how to make disciples and lead small groups.

We will spend lots of time outdoors and in coffee shops meeting students and young adults where they are during the summertime.

What type of ways will you be serving?

College ministry at our local university. 

Service projects helping our local partner churches.

Campus and community outreach focused on young adults in Anchorage.

The nature of this Missions Experience will require individuals to be physically active 

and relational. You need to be willing to adapt and willing to learn new skills. 2-3 times a week you will go out in the community to interact with young adults. Every Wednesday evenings will be our summer Mosaic gathering with our local students.

Cost: $1750 (housing/food/transportation) + Airfare (AVG cost: $1200/person)
